One to one massage and relaxation sessions
If
you’ve never tried massage or relaxation
before then a 20 minute taster session is a great
way of experiencing it and helping you decide
if its for you or not. It’s 20 minutes
of “you” time where you can begin
to relax and soak up the nourishing effects of
the treatment. You don’t even need
to remove any clothing!
Group sessions
Throughout the year we run a variety
of group sessions. These are a great way
of learning new things, meeting people, taking
time out for you, relaxing and most of all having
fun. You
can drop in to some of the weekly sessions
as and when it suits you but for other sessions
you may need to book a place. Some of
the groups we’ve run in the past have
included yoga, tai chi, relaxation, introduction
to massage, stress awareness and stress management.
Before a session
When you arrive at the venue,
and before you begin your outreach session, the
therapist from Adult Stress Centre will ask you
to complete a form with some of your personal
details. The information
you give us will help us to make your sessions
more enjoyable and might also be used in the reports
we send to our funders. Any information you give
us will be treated as strictly confidential.
